There's no place like home for Carlinville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Southwestern Piasa Birds on Monday as they made off with a 7-0 win. It was an even better day for Jordyn Loveless as she scored three goals for her team.

Carlinville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Southwestern, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Carlinville and Southwestern will both be playing Staunton the next time they take the pitch. The Piasa Birds will host the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cavaliers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
