Soccer Game Preview: Eaglecrest vs. Prairie View + How To Watch

The Eaglecrest Raptors will head out to face off against the Prairie View Thunderhawks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eaglecrest's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Eaglecrest managed to keep up with Horizon until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Raptors lost 4-0 to the Hawks. While losing is never fun, Eaglecrest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Horizon are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Prairie View kept a clean sheet against Lakewood on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 1-0. The win continues a trend for Prairie View in their matchups with Lakewood: they've now won three in a row.

Prairie View's one-goal win came courtesy of Salma Vazquez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Prairie View's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Eaglecrest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Eaglecrest skirted past Prairie View 3-2 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raptors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
