Okmulgee scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the KIPP Tulsa University Prep Bulldogs 89-84. Okmulgee was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced KIPP Tulsa University Prep earlier this season, when they won 64-62.

This is the second loss in a row for Okmulgee and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for KIPP Tulsa University Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Okmulgee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McLain Science & Tech at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for KIPP Tulsa University Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. KIPP Tulsa University Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge.
