Woodcreek entered their tilt with Vista del Lago on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Timberwolves, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Woodcreek was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 23-25, 25-19.

Woodcreek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Samantha Campanale out in front who had 23 digs and five assists. Those 23 digs gave Campanale a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Walsh, who had ten digs and three aces.

Woodcreek's win bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Vista del Lago, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.

Woodcreek and Vista del Lago should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Timberwolves (ranked 20th) will meet Inderkum (ranked 541st) at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Vista del Lago will square off against Ponderosa at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (198 vs. 688).
