Soccer Game Preview: Mills vs. Burlingame

Mills hasn't had much luck against Burlingame recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Mills Vikings will head out to face off against the Burlingame Panthers at 4:00 p.m.

Mills is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of San Mateo. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Boston Aurigui, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Burlingame entered their tilt with Aragon on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Dons. Two seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Burlingame, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Mills might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Burlingame in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Mills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
