The dueling quarterbacks from Texas who waged a shootout in a 61-52 Flower Mound win over Plano highlight this week's list of national football stat stars.
Connor Michelsen of Plano came out slightly ahead in the statistics as he completed 22 of 39 passes for 407 yards and four touchdowns. However, Paul Millard of Flower Mound came out ahead on the scoreboard and had a sensational night in his own right with 404 yards on 30 of 47 passing with four touchdowns.
Familiar names also found their spot on the list as perennial stat star Maty Mauk of Kenton (Ohio) topped the list with a 497-yard performance. Meanwhile standout junior running back Russel Shell from Hopewell (Aliquippa, Pa.) was among this week's leading rushers with 392 yards on 32 carries and three touchdowns in a 28-26 win over New Castle.
