Volleyball Recap: Mohonasen Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lansingburgh on Thursday, Mohonasen came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Troy Flying Horses on Friday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flying Horses this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-19.

Allyson Reynolds paced Mohonasen's offense, picking up nine kills. Reynolds got some help from Sadie Perretta and her 19 assists. Perretta was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Mohonasen's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-7-1. As for Troy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-2.

Mohonasen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Cohoes on the 21st. As for Troy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Lansingburgh on the 21st.
