Basketball Recap: Parkside Gets the Win

On Saturday, the Parkside Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 76-74 victory over the Woodbridge Vikings.

Colby Murphy had an outrageously good game as he posted 50 points. Daiquan Smith was another key player, putting up 18 points.

The win got Parkside back to even at 1-1. As for Woodbridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Parkside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 83-29 victory against Model Secondary School for the Deaf on the 16th. Woodbridge has also already played their next game, a 71-65 win against Freedom on the 17th.
