Recap: Silas Rams vs. Lakes Lancers
There's no place like home for the Silas Rams, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They managed a 72-67 victory over Lakes on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Albert Kopec continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Parker, who scored 15 points.
Silas' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Lakes, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
Silas won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mount Si at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th. Mount Si knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully Silas likes a good challenge. As for Lakes, they will be playing at home against Spanaway Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spanaway Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Lakes likes a good challenge.
