Volleyball Recap: Corona's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Corona came into Thursday's contest having lost 15 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the King Wolves by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Wolves back in March, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The win didn't come easy: King scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Corona's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 7-20. As for King, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Corona will challenge rival Santiago at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, King is set to take on their familiar foe Norco at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
