Volleyball Recap: Trico Gets the Win

Trico won the last time they faced Sesser-Valier and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pioneers came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Trico took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15.

Rylie Robinson paced Trico's offense, picking up four kills. Robinson got some help from Molly Rathert and her 13 assists.

Trico's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Sesser-Valier, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trico will be taking part in a tournament against Century on Tuesday. As for Sesser-Valier, they will challenge Goreville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
