Baseball Recap: John Glenn Takes a Loss

John Glenn lost against Center Moriches back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils.

Luke Brillant spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, Connor Bletsch made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

John Glenn's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Center Moriches, they moved to 13-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Red Devils beat John Glenn by a score of 13-2 on Thursday.
