Archbishop Hoban had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Avon Lake Shoremen. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Shoremen, too.

Archbishop Hoban never let Avon Lake on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24, 25-18.

Archbishop Hoban's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Avon Lake, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-5.
