North Surry won the last time they faced North Wilkes, and Zamarri Sweatman did his part to make sure it happened again. The Greyhounds blew past the Vikings 37-14 on Friday for which the team can thank Sweatman, who rushed for 161 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 103.5 rushing yards per game.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for North Surry, racking up 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Fisher Leftwich, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The win (which was North Surry's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points on average over those games. As for North Wilkes, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
