There's no place like home for Cedar, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pine View Panthers on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Cedar had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 15-4.

Despite the loss, Pine View still got an impressive performance from Genevieve Evans, who had 16 digs and six aces. Evans is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played. Anaya Little was another key player, getting nine digs and two aces.

Cedar's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. As for Pine View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cedar will face off against rival Desert Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pine View is set to take on their familiar foe Crimson Cliffs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
