Volleyball Game Preview: Lewis Mills Spartans vs. Farmington River Hawks

The Lewis Mills Spartans will face off against the Farmington River Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Lewis Mills came up short against Simsbury and fell 3-1. The Spartans have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-22, 23-25, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Farmington faced East Hartford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The River Hawks fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-2.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Lewis Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
