Football Recap: Snow Hill Comes Up Short

Snow Hill lost against Colonel Richardson back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles were beaten by the Colonels 46-14. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Snow Hill took the loss, they still got scores from Mekhi Waters and Keonte Taylor.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jazir Dickerson and Derrick Mitchell. Dickerson rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per carry while Mitchell rushed for 154 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Those 204 rushing yards gave Dickerson a new career-high.

Snow Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Colonel Richardson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Snow Hill will be playing at home against Cambridge-South Dorchester at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colonel Richardson, they will head out to face off against Nandua at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
