Football Recap: TJ Hanson and Jaylen Griffey Secure Win for T.R. Miller + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when T.R. Miller challenged Excel on Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 21-14 win over the Panthers. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Tigers were the better team in the second half.

A big part of T.R. Miller's victory came down to the chemistry between TJ Hanson and his top target Jaylen Griffey. Hanson rushed for 53 yards and one touchdown while Griffey gained 157 total yards and a touchdown. Griffey was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 66 yards.

T.R. Miller was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

T.R. Miller's record now sits at 6-2. As for Excel, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
