Basketball Recap: Palmyra Piles Up the Points Against Van-Far

Palmyra won the last time they faced Van-Far and things went their way on Monday too. The Palmyra Panthers blew past the Van-Far Indians 68-29. That 39 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

When it comes to explaining why Van-Far lost, don't look at Chloe Zumwalt. Despite the final result, she went 7 for 15 on her way to 15 points and five boards. Trinity Skwirtz was another key player, putting up two points.

Palmyra's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Van-Far, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmyra will challenge Mexico at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Van-Far, they are taking a road trip to square off against Canton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Van-Far is facing Canton at the right time seeing as Canton is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
