Brandon won the last time they faced Kearsley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blackhawks put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blackhawks.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-17.

Preslea Hanson paced Brandon's offense, picking up ten kills. Hanson got some help from Madie McLauchlin and her 15 assists. Hanson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

The win got Brandon back to even at 13-13. As for Kearsley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Brandon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kearsley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kettering at 6:30 p.m. on the 28th.
