After losing to Altamonte Christian the last time they met, Pathways decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Pathways pulled ahead with a 55-54 photo finish over Altamonte Christian on Thursday.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaiah Requena, who made all 6 shots he took for 18 points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Fortune, who posted seven points along with nine rebounds and six assists.

Pathways' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Altamonte Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Pathways will face off against Jenkins at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Altamonte Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-57 win against Foundation Academy on the 21st.
