Basketball Recap: Las Vegas Wildcats vs. Shadow Ridge Mustangs
Las Vegas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Shadow Ridge Mustangs, falling 70-33. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 61-28 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.
Despite the loss, Las Vegas saw an underclassman step up: freshman Sariyah Johnson posted eight points and 21 rebounds. Johnson has been hot, having posted 13 or more boards the last eight times she's played.
