Soccer Recap: Somerset Comes Up Short

Somerset lost against Floresville back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Somerset Bulldogs came up short against the Floresville Tigers/Jaguars, falling 4-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bulldogs haven't been shut out since back in January.

Somerset's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-8. As for Floresville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Uvalde the next time they take the pitch. Somerset will head out to face Uvalde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Floresville will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
