Truckee and Moapa Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Truckee had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Moapa Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Dalley, who had 24 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Dalley has posted since back in October. The team also got some help courtesy of Clari Frei, who had 18 digs.

Truckee's loss dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Moapa Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-21 record this season.

Truckee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moapa Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against The Meadows School on the 8th.
