James Monroe extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Skylar Clarkson. The Mavericks blew past the Princeton Tigers 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Clarkson, who had five digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant James Monroe was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-11.

James Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 21-7-1. As for Princeton, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-11-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James Monroe will welcome Independence at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Princeton, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wyoming East at 6:30 p.m. on the 13th.
