Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Hyndman Charter School took a serious blow against the Panthers, falling 78-49. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hyndman Charter School in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Shanksville Stonycreek pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Turkeyfoot Valley Area at home by a decisive 73-56 margin. Shanksville Stonycreek was down 58-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Hyndman Charter School's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Shanksville Stonycreek, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
Hyndman Charter School was taken down by the Vikings 48-17 in their previous meeting back in January. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hyndman Charter School was down 32-8.
