Softball Recap: Southwest Florida Christian Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Southwest Florida Christian's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Bishop Verot Vikings on Thursday. The King's haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Southwest Florida Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Bishop Verot, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Southwest Florida Christian will square off against Master's Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The King's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season. As for Bishop Verot, they will face off against Riverview Sarasota at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
