Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Wayne Comes Up Short

Fort Wayne Wayne lost against Fort Wayne Snider back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Generals lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-16.

Fort Wayne Wayne's offense was headlined by David Win and Elijah McKinney, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Jayden Harris and his five assists. McKinney was also a major player on defense: he and he shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Fort Wayne Snider can attribute much of their success to Myo Ko, who had seven aces and five digs. Those seven aces gave Ko a new career-high.

Fort Wayne Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Fort Wayne Snider, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-2.
