In other batting news, Meredith Deaton was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Adelle Brown also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. West Washington hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Providence struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went West Washington's way against Providence in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as West Washington made off with a 13-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Senators since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
