Baseball Recap: Troy-Buchanan Takes a Loss

Troy-Buchanan was the 6-4 winner over Liberty when they last played one another back in April of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Jays on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Troy-Buchanan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Twellman, who went 3-for-4 with one run. Another was Max Terbrock, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Troy-Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Liberty will venture away from home to take on Park Hill South at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Troy-Buchanan will be paying especially close attention to the Blue Jays' game: after the Blue Jays face off against the Panthers, they'll take on Troy-Buchanan again at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
