Basketball Recap: Broome Skates Past Greer Middle College with Ease

Broome won the last time they faced Greer Middle College and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Broome Centurions really took it to the Greer Middle College Blazers for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-21 victory. The Centurions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Broome's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kourtney Wofford, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine steals. Wofford has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 19 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Dakota Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.

Broome smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.

Broome is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Greer Middle College, they dropped their record down to 3-18 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
