Baseball Recap: Clovis East Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Clovis East and Redwood squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Clovis East had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 4-2. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Clovis East's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Redwood, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

Clovis East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redwood, they will challenge St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rangers 3, the Knights 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
