Gavin Polite Game Report: vs Edisto

On Friday, Gavin Polite posted his first game with 10+ total tackles. He picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made 12 total tackles (3.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception, helping propel Hampton County past Edisto by a score of 43-0. We rated that as his best effort of the season, easily topping his previous best, set on August 29th, when he made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss) (Gamescore: 33.25 vs. 17.75).

Looking ahead, Polite and Hampton County are taking a road trip to face off against Lake Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes are a perfect 4-0 against the Gators going back to October of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
