Baseball Recap: North Valleys Comes Up Short

North Valleys lost to Reno back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers came up short against the Huskies, falling 13-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Valleys saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Klayton Wess, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

North Valleys' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Reno, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Valleys is set to challenge their familiar foe McQueen at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Reno will face off against rival Douglas at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
