Volleyball Game Preview: Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack vs. Abington Heights Comets

The Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack will face off against the Abington Heights Comets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Wilkes-Barre turned things around against Wyoming Area on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors.

While Wilkes-Barre won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Abington Heights made easy work of Montrose on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Meteors: they've now won nine in a row.

Abington Heights not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Montrose between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-17.

The win got Wilkes-Barre back to even at 3-3. As for Abington Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 17-0.
