Softball Recap: Roswell Comes Up Short

Roswell fell victim to Carlsbad and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cavemen/Cavegirls by a score of 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Coyotes in their meetings with the Cavemen/Cavegirls: they've now lost nine in a row.

Roswell's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Carlsbad, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Carlsbad beat Roswell by a score of 1-0 later that day.
