Football Recap: Kennedy Catholic Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kennedy Catholic had to suffer through a 38-6 loss at the hands of Coventry Christian. While losing is never fun, Kennedy Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 518th, while Coventry Christian is ranked first).

Luke Hunter continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Coventry Christian, rushing for 70 yards and two TDs, while also throwing for 171 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes.

Kennedy Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Coventry Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy Catholic will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Joseph Central Catholic at 2:00 p.m. on October 12. As for Coventry Christian, they will take on Girard College at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
