Baseball Recap: Calloway County Comes Up Short

Calloway County came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-2 to the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado. The defeat continues a trend for the Lakers in their meetings with the Blue Tornado: they've now lost nine in a row.

Calloway County's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Paducah Tilghman, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Calloway County will head out on the road to challenge Pleasure Ridge Park at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Paducah Tilghman, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Springfield at 9:00 a.m.
