Volleyball Game Preview: West Branch Warriors vs. Purchase Line Red Dragons

West Branch has gone a perfect 3-0 against Purchase Line recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Red Dragons at 7:00 p.m. West Branch will be looking to extend their current 18-game winning streak.

On Thursday, West Branch got the win against Curwensville by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Branch took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-5, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Purchase Line unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Northern Cambria by a score of 3-2.

Purchase Line wouldn't go down easily and took Northern Cambria into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-16, 25-17, 15-25, 15-11.

Purchase Line's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for West Branch, their win bumped their record up to 20-1-2.

Everything went West Branch's way against Purchase Line when the teams last played back in October of 2023, as West Branch made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
