Recap: Plaquemine Green Devils vs. White Castle Bulldogs
The Plaquemine Green Devils lost against the White Castle Bulldogs back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Plaquemine received a tough blow as they fell 59-43 to White Castle.
Despite the defeat, Plaquemine saw an underclassman step up: Comora Davis scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddison Mitchell, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Plaquemine's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for White Castle, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.
Plaquemine will head out on the road to challenge West Feliciana at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for White Castle, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Morgan City at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Morgan City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 330th, while White Castle is ranked 78th).
