Softball Recap: West Greene Buffaloes vs. University School Buccaneers
West Greene's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the University School Buccaneers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-5 two weeks ago.
Morgan Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Brown was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aubree Everett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
West Greene's record is now 8-10. As for University School, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.
