Kearsarge has gone 7-2 against Monadnock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Hawks are ranked 38th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Monadnock can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past Stevens with points to spare, taking the game 50-35.

Monadnock's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Kearsarge, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
