Tori Detro put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April on Saturday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Detro and North Putnam will venture away from home to challenge Edgewood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 57 places lower in Indiana), but they're not letting that get them down.
