Football Game Preview: Southern Wells Raiders vs. Adams Central Flying Jets

Southern Wells is 0-10 against Adams Central since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Raiders will look to defend their home field against the Flying Jets at 7:00 p.m.

Southern Wells is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Bluffton on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Raiders were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 47-14. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Meanwhile, Adams Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past South Adams to the tune of 35-7. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Adams Central's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Southern Wells, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4.
