Football Game Preview: Cedar Grove Saints vs. North Clayton Eagles + Official Tickets

The Cedar Grove Saints will face off against the North Clayton Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Cedar Grove has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while North Clayton will arrive with four straight wins.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 50-18, which was the final score in Cedar Grove's tilt against Stephenson on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Jaguars are ranked 93rd).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Clayton). They walked away with a 45-38 victory over Luella on Friday.

Cedar Grove now has a losing record of 3-4. As for North Clayton, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Cedar Grove strolled past North Clayton when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 52-35. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
