Cheyenne won against Western last Thursday with 19 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Desert Shields blew past the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights 19-9. Considering the Desert Shields have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Cheyenne and bumps their season record up to 6-10. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-14 Democracy Prep Agassi Campus and 3-12 Western. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cheyenne is set to challenge their familiar foe Del Sol at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus will face off against rival Western at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
