After flying high against Columbia Academy last Monday, Battle Ground Academy came back down to earth. The Battle Ground Academy Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Franklin Road Academy Panthers on Tuesday. Franklin Road Academy can attribute much of their success to Savannah Sullivan, who had 16 digs. Sullivan is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had eight or more in the last 20 games she's played dating back to last season.
Battle Ground Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for Franklin Road Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7.
Battle Ground Academy will welcome Grace Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin Road Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Providence Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
