Volleyball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Little River Academy on Friday, Franklin came back down to earth. The Lions came up short against the Lexington Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Franklin was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-23.

Franklin's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-19. As for Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Franklin will welcome Rogers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will head out to square off against Round Top-Carmine at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
