Recap: O'Neal Falcons vs. Fayetteville Christian Warriors
This season hasn't been kind to the O'Neal Falcons, who are still winless after their 17th contest. They were the victim of a rough 47-27 loss at the hands of Fayetteville Christian on Friday. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly O'Neal struggled afterwards.
It was another big night for Cristian Sias, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 15 rebounds for Fayetteville Christian. Another player making a difference was Avery Perusek, who scored five points.
O'Neal's loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Fayetteville Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.
O'Neal will head out on the road to take on South Wake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Averaging 68.4 so far this season, South Wake's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so O'Neal better be ready for a challenge. As for Fayetteville Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwood Temple Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwood Temple Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
