Football Recap: Elkin Takes a Loss

Elkin fell victim to West Wilkes and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Blackhawks, falling 55-0. The loss continues a trend for the Buckin' Elks in their meetings with the Blackhawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Elkin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West Wilkes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
